WEDDING RENTAL CONTRACT
1: The museum closes at 5:30. If your event extends beyond 5:30 p.m. (1:00 a.m. curfew) a $25/hour charge will be assessed.
A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a date.
An additional cleaning deposit in the amount of $100.00 is required and will be refunded when the Council Room and grounds are examined by the Facilities Manager or Director and left in the condition in which they were found.
2: Rental Rate: $350
When renting the facility for a wedding, the renter may decorate the day prior to the wedding. The renter also has the Monday following the event (if it is held on a Saturday) to clean but it must be completed by 12:00 p.m.
For your convenience we do offer tables and chairs for rent
Round white tables (12) $8.50 each Rectangular banquet tables (7) .$8.50 each
Folding white chairs (96) ...85¢ each
3: Rental equipment obtained from other sources, such as a rental business, must be stored and locked in the Meeting Room following the event. The museum will not be responsible for damage or theft to rental equipment if it is left outside. Equipment must be picked up during the museum's normal hours on the next regular open day of the museum between 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
4: A green grass runner for the center aisle is available for rent for an additional fee of $25.00.
5: Rental of the Meeting Room does not include free admission to the museum.
6: The Meeting Room has a capacity to accommodate 150.
The museum is not responsible for your rented equipment or personal items.
1: Inform museum staff when rented equipment is to be picked up
2: Remove all personal items such as dishes, food, clothing, etc.
3: Please check all appliances: Make sure that they are cleaned and turned off.
4: Remove all garbage which must be bagged to the outside garbage cans located on the porch behind the museum.
5: Rented equipment should be placed in the meeting room. The museum assumes no responsibility for items that are left outside.
6: Sweep floors, dust mop and damp mop. When damp mopping only use a cap full of cleaner. The cleaner will create a light foam so do not be alarmed. Rinse bucket when necessary.
7: Kitchen counter top wiped clean and dried. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
The Favell Museum staff wants your event to progress smoothly which is why we have identified possible problems by making you aware of them prior to their occurrence.
