The Favell Museum Invitational Art Show & Sale will showcase contemporary, representational art from more than 30 acclaimed West Coast artists. A variety of subject matter and styles will be featured, in oil, pastel, acrylic, watercolor, bronze sculpture, wood sculpture and more. The month long show will begin with a two day reception—Meet the artists. Enjoy music and refreshments. Both Saturday and Sunday morning watch plein air painting, sculpting, and more, in the museum garden. The art produced will be part of a weekend-long silent auction.
On Sunday morning there will be a special pre-ticketed champagne brunch. Tickets for the Sunday brunch are limited so reserve early! Call 541-882-9996 for details.
Schedule of Activities
• ARTIST RECEPTION – Saturday September 27th, Hours: 10 AM to 5 PM (General admission $10, good for all day Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 4 PM) – Throughout the morning, watch participating artists paint along the Link River in the museum’s lower garden area. Featuring plein air landscape, figure, and still life. A weekend-long silent auction of the pieces produced will follow.
• ARTIST RECEPTION – Sunday September 28th, Hours: Noon to 4 PM (General admission $10, good for all day Saturday and Sunday from Noon until 4 PM)
• CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH WITH THE ARTISTS – Sunday, September 28th, 10 am to Noon (Prior to doors opening to public) – On Sunday morning, prior to the public opening at noon, the museum will featuring a pre-ticketed champagne brunch featuring mimosas, scrumptious “Farm to Favell Fare,” music and more, with participating artists, as they paint, sculpt and discuss their art in the museum garden along the banks of the Link River. This will be followed by the conclusion of the silent auction.

Opening Reception Admission and Brunch Admission good for both days; benefits the non-profit Favell Museum; with admission you will be entered into a drawing to win door prizes.
