The new art style introduced by
Robert Copple blends photo-realistic wildlife painting and fine art
landscape photography into a single image that transcends the
boundaries of the separate disciplines: an image one step closer to
reality than any artist could render, yet beyond the realistic
capabilities of any photographer. "When I find a perfect landscape
that captures the majesty and complexity of nature, I use a medium
format camera to capture the image," the artist explains. "After the
photograph is transferred to painting canvas, I render each living
element in accurate detail, as if the animal or bird were passing
through the landscape when I photographed the scene." Robert Copple
is an advocate for nature. He creates living moments on canvas that
he hopes will inspire viewers to explore nature seeking more. His
images have been used by the Audubon Society, Nature Conservatory,
Humane Society, Actors and Others for Animals, Habitat for Humanity,
Safari Club International, and other organizations seeking to
safeguard and preserve wildlife and our natural
heritage.
